The Halloween STEM Challenge Lab includes five hands-on challenges designed to introduce kids to engineering and STEM concepts through play and experimentation.

Kids will:

• Build a spider web strong enough to hold “bugs”
• Launch pumpkins with a catapult
• Build a haunted house that can withstand a ghost storm
• Construct a monster tower
• Create a zipline to deliver candy

Each challenge follows a simple engineering process:

Imagine → Plan → Build → Test → Redesign

Children aren’t simply following directions—they’re making decisions, testing ideas, recording results, and thinking about how to improve their designs.

Perfect for ages 6–12 and flexible enough to use one challenge at a time. Most challenges take approximately 20–45 minutes.
